The shipment of your parcel

Products purchased on the web site will be delivered to the address specified by the customer. The customer can ask for the delivery of the products to a person of his choice, whose residence or domicile is within the territory of the European Community. When the products are delivered, it will be required the signature of an adult older than 18 years old. It’s not possible to deliver products to PO boxes.

For each order completed on the web site 4 Madonne Caseificio dell’Emilia emits a receipt of goods shipped, that will be sent inside the parcel, according to DPR 445/2000 and Legislative Decree no. 52/2004.

SHIPPING BY REFRIGERATED COURIER (NOT EXPRESS): the order is processed in a few days (the time required for payment and processing) and given to the refrigerated courier that, within 36 hours from the withdrawal, will deliver the goods ensuring the maintenance below 8°C.

Delivery costs are charged to the customer and are clearly indicated on the web site and in the order form.

Delivery costs depends on the total weight of each order and the final destination of the goods and they are subject to change by 4 Madonne Caseificio dell’Emilia without any warning.

Here below we present the tariffs applied.

☸ From November till March, Parmigiano Reggiano can be shipped with express courier with no need of refrigerating system.

❀ From April till October, we will add a refrigerating disk with an extra cost of € 2.00 per each box.

ATTENTION! You should keep Parmigiano Reggiano cheese at a temperature between 4°C and 8°C.




The packages have adequate sizes to protect and ship your products safely.

For the delivery of the goods it is necessary that someone is at the address indicated in the order during the moment of the delivery.

When the courier deliver the goods, the customer must check that the number of boxes is the same as indicated in the transport document and that the package is intact or altered.

If the package and/or the products are damaged or there is a mismatch in the number of items, the customer should immediately contest it by reserve of control written on the delivery proof of the courier.

Once signed the document given by the courier, the customer cannot make any objection about the appearance of the parcel delivered.
