Serving suggestions: Crescentine or tigelle heated are traditionally consumed by cutting them in half and being filled with a pesto made up of chopped pork lard, garlic and rosemary and grated Parmesan cheese, or with stewed rabbit, hare or wild boar cacciatore.
Today , tigelle are proposed mainly with various stuffings: affettato meats, cheeses and other sweet or savory sauces.
